MOLD-FREE BERRIES. When you get your berries home, prepare a mixture of one part vinegar (white or apple cider probably work best) and ten parts water. Dump the berries into the mixture and swirl around. Drain, rinse if you want (though the mixture is so diluted you can't taste the vinegar,) and pop in the fridge. The vinegar kills any mold spores and other bacteria that might be on the surface of the fruit. Raspberries will last a week or more, and I've had strawberries go almost two weeks without getting moldy and soft. VINEGAR IS AMAZING.

I want to try this! "If you’ve never done this before, you are seriously missing out. Grapefruit is good but broiled grapefruit is GOOOOD. The sugars caramelize and the flesh gets a little warm and gooey and it’s a sweet, tangy, brûléed masterpiece for your tastebuds. I highly recommend it."
Mix any cake mix with just pumpkin puree (no oil or eggs) and bake! Supposed to be delicious. I need to try this. Another thing I want to try is cake mix with diet soda... These will be interesting cooking experiments!
