Monica Gonzalez-Gomez I will be using this as a reference when we refurbish OUR Craftsman bungalow (that, sadly, had every single bit of authentic detail strpped out of it before my parents [the 2nd owners] bought the house). The fireplace (which was sealed) still has the original mantle, but the bookcases were removed and sealed. However, frames are still there, behind drywall, and my husband and I will start on our remodeling journey with the bookcases :)
