Cambridge Google HQ. With their aggressive growth, Google opened offices for sales and engineering at 5 Cambridge Center. The office had been without a proper sign to welcome visitors into their office. Artaic worked with a committee of Google employees to develop a unique backlit mosaic to add a contemporary burst of energy to the entryway of the unique company’s progressive office. The Area 4 Story mural, by artist David Fichter, was mounted on the Hampshire Street side of the Advance Tire Company Building, at 185 Broadway, in October 2009. The mural, commissioned by the Area 4 Neighborhood Coalition, encompasses the history of the neighborhood from the early 1900s. DiscoverArea4.com.
