Poster paper cut in circles, spraypainted, layered into a fishscale pattern on fiberboard, trimmed out, and hung in a dining room. Great (and cheap) graphic statement!...what's even cooler is the pattern upside-down and stapled (with each piece covering the staples) and the shaped flaps used to hold pics and ticket stubs!
