JOHN CLANG 10/02/2012 · Photography John Clang is fascinated by movement in space and time. In his series 'Time', he shows in an interesting way, how are spatially close we are actually people. We are all travelers in the same room, just at different times. In the seemingly static, urban environment, the passage of time only by the people who move into their visible. 'A series that Involves recording a location, to show the passing of time in a montage style. There is a sense of intimate intricacy of how time moves, and how people albeit in a different time, are actually closer to one another and traveling in the same shared space. I've always been intrigued by the constant subtle changes in my urban environment. Every subtle shift affects my feelings and thoughts, hence my images respond acutely as a poetic reflection of myself in this environment. Working on this series, I explore how time moves in this seemingly static urban space. The people become the moving energy flowing through this space, marking the changes, forming the time. These images explore my fascination so that there are probably many time dimensions in this universe. We may have a 'life' that exists on a different path similarly, one minute before or after the one we're living now. Merely we just exist in this current dimension, and sometimes when time paths collide, we have déjà vu experience. '
FLESH LOVE 02/09/2012 · Photography In the series 'Love Flesh' shows the photographer Hal pairs in plastic sputter machine. Starting from the idea that they would sometimes prefer to merge with a partner, he grabs pairs in plastic bags and presses them together in a vacuum. The photographs are in his kitchen, where he has only about 10 seconds to scan the people in his plastic prison. His models, he finds in bars, night clubs or on the road. The result is a colorful mix of different characters. From business woman to the manager, was to be musicians, Striper, dancers and office staff already all there. "When you embrace your lover, sometimes you wish to melt right into them. To realize this wish, I've been photographing couples in small, cramped spaces or even like motels and bathtubs. As my work has become more and more intense, I've noticed that communication is indispensable. This time, I reached the point of photographing couples in vacuum-sealed packs, set in a kitchen that I've constructed in my own. For me, the vacuum pack is only a means: the important thing is connection to someone. '

WARD ROBERTS 07/02/2012 · Photography The series 'Billions' by Ward Roberts shows millions of cities in a new composition. The endless sea of houses with square openings to the outside world. People huddled in their homes. Window to window, life to life and yet you take no more part of the unreal reality of life 'out there'. Roberts takes us, redeemed us from our usual perspective and puts us in a new perspective. From high above the living room to appear in their colors and harmony through the transition, it is hardly conceivable that in fact behind all the flashing lights of life takes place.

Crazy, Abstract Faces That Look Like Exploding Fireworks by Caroline Stanley. Posted on 5:00 pm Wednesday Feb 8, 2012 + We’ve seen the whole self-portraits by a talented makeup artist thing before. But unlike Andy Alcala’s face painting odes to famous works of art, which was all about the power of transformation, this series of photos Nadia Wicker embraces the beauty that can be found in the abstract. Shooting her closeup images against a black backdrop and using colored lights, the France-based artist presents the viewer with a face that looks like it has been created out of swirling fireworks. Do we have any idea what she actually looks like? Not really. And that’s precisely the point.
