Karen DeBernardis We just did this at the science museum on Monday. The kids loved it.
I love this idea. Start a savings shadow box with a picture of what they're saving for. This would also be cool for the kids, to teach them to save for something.

Blue Skies Ahead made these ... one for each day she and her husband were gone on a trip (without the kids) ... but they could be used for so many things!

popsicle stick puzzles - could put velcro on the back of each stick and make a page for them in a quiet book or magnets for fridge

if you write a letter to a character at disney (walt disney world communications p.o. box 10040 lake buena vista, fl 32830-0040), they will send you an autographed photo back. Wouldn't this be a great idea for little ones...if you wrote the letter and got them a surprise in the mail??

Julie Aiello I just did this for my girls and they got a postcard back with all the princesses on it. They must have had a ton of letters and had to cut back. They still were happy with the post card though, but it wasn't personalized.

This is genius!! Portable roads that are easy for kids to put together and will travel easily, made out of old denim and yellow paint; velcro helps them stick to carpet. Brilliant!
