Pinterest is an online pinboard.
Organize and share things you love.
As the title says, this board is all about me. Part of the 52 weeks to freeplaylife, I am playing archaeologist for my own life so far. Not everything will be happy or beautiful, but being truthful is important when you are excavating the past.
Before text messages - school notes! I used to write these all the time :)

My father was a numismatist. His business took him to many places in the world, and I was fortunate to travel with him at times. I didn't enjoy spending many of my childhood days behind a table at trade shows but I believe I did gain a love of history, geography, and art from that exposure.

I lived in Monaco from 1975-1990, grew up there and couldn't wait to leave. It just wasn't for me.

In the 80s, I spent a few summers camping in Canada with my father and aunts, uncles and cousins. I fell in love with Canada then. Upon returning home to Monaco, I told my mother many times that I would be moving to Canada when I was 18. She didn't believe me....but I did!

In June 1990, I moved from Monaco to Canada on my own, staying at first with relatives while I attended college. I have never ever regretted my decision to move here. I ♥ Canada.

My favourite big tote bag. I love making things. I taught myself how to sew and quilt because I wanted to do something with my hands.

Tiffani Michele :( I'm so sorry
LauraJ ((((hugs))))
Words scarred me. I might have grown up in beautiful places, but childhood wasn't always pretty. Be careful what you tell your children, words can hurt and leave scars that take years to heal.
