All you need is colorful thread, a piece of scrap fabric, your sewing machine, and dash of whimsy. Cut your scrap to fit over the offending flowers and stitch down the edges with a tight zigzag stitch. Then use your machine to make a tight zigzag spiral, turning fabric as you sew.
