You put water in a bowl and drop random colors of nailpolish in it. then you stir it with a toothpick and put petroleum jelly on your fingers, so that the nail polish only gets on your nails. then you stick your fingers in the bowl.

The color is fantastic - a dark glossy charcoal with no shimmer. My favorite part is that it only takes one coat to achieve the saturation you want but if you want another coat for that ultra lacquered look, it can easily be done in one sweep. What a great product, and SO affordable!
