This book sucks you into its modern-day universe in the same way Harry Potter does...but it replaces the "wonder" with more realism and grit. The characters are believable, relate-able, angsty teenagers trying (and, more often than not, failing) to figure out how to be adult magicians.

Peter and the Starcatchers is a wonderful series that serves as a giant prequel to Peter Pan. They're suspenseful and funny and a lot of fun to read.

This book is amazing: The story of a young girl in a Mexican border town who becomes a vigilante. Think female Wolverine.
Really enjoyed this book. It's light and suffers from a bit of name-dropping toward the end, but overall it was inspirational and fun.
This book pretty much changed my life. It definitely changed my approach to health and fitness.

Creepy as hell but amazingly well-written. Very innovative storytelling technique that WILL make you afraid of the dark. Or at least dark hallways. :-)

Fantastic book, compelling story, but be prepared for not much of an ending. It's the first of a trilogy.
