The newspaper will prevent any grass and weed seeds from germinating, but unlike fabric, it will decompose after about 18 months. By that time, any grass and weed seeds that were present in the soil on planting will be dead. It’s green, it’s cheaper than fabric, and when you decide to remove or redesign the bed later on, you will not have the headache you would with fabric.

A must-have for any cool 6th grader! I remember trading pens and pencils with my friend, Mason. I had some cool pharmaceutical pens (my dad was an MD), but he had many cool colored pens. I wanted my girls to collect pencils from all the countries and states we visited, but they never loved pens and pencils the way I did... (& still do!) :)

THIS IS AMAZING!!! I just cleaned 6 spots on my carpet (toddler pee, dog puke, orange juice, and dog pee) and ALL OF IT IS GONE!!!!! It took me 13 minutes and I didn't scrub once!!!

Another pinner says: Hot Vinegar and Dawn Soap! Seriously, I saw this on Pinterest and decided to try it on my white shower tile...WOW! 1 cup of HOT Vinegar (microwave 1-2 min) and 1 cup of blue DAWN liquid soap. Shake into bottle and creates a gel that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!
