Meghan I have a friend who knows a guy who had some negative effects. I don't know the extent, but it had something to do with insulin. He lost a ton of weight and looks great, but something happened with his insulin levels and management. Look into that and good luck! I've read a little and it sounds like our bodies have evolved to needing certain things that paleo cuts out. I dont have all the info though, need to research more myself!
Kim Clarke I know I don't know you, but an older friend of mine has been paleo for several years and she has reversed her type 2 diabetes this way :)
