Mary-Stuart Hoppmann We play a variation of the lava game; I call it Lava Lizard. Mom is "rooted" to the ground in one place. Kids try to tag her while she tries to catch them. Another one is that I "chase" them with the vacuum. They are 9, 10 and 13 and they STILL love it!

Andrea Hughes http://www.hi-float.com/bio... Latex balloons are actually biodegradable and are not harmful. Although, the pacifier is not. Regardless, that is a cute story and such a unique way to part with a pacifier without a fight!

Soap Clouds anyone? Microwave a bar of Ivory soap while your little one watches in amazement as it turns into a huge "cloud." Then, break the cloud to pieces, and help them make their own new soap. A fun activity for parents and little ones to do together!

Brandy Davis My husband did this with a large box and an old set of Christmas lights. He just ran the lights around the inside edges of the box and used cable ties poked through the box to hang them. Kids loved it.
