Derek Stein Similar to the PR field itself, this definition is always going to be variable and each practitioner is going to posses a definition as unique as their personal approach to the work they conduct. Watered down? Perhaps, but only because it needs to be in order to capture the broadest aspect of our industry.
Andrea Schulle @Derek Stein - thanks for your input! I think PRSA made the first mistake by crowd sourcing. It's hard to get anything accomplished that way - IMHO. I also think the definition was made palatable for the masses and didn't add any clarity to what PR is. Perhaps they shouldn't have been so broad and aimed more for clarity.
