If you've ever had a dog who you loved as part of your family, you've got to read this book. It is told from the dog's perspective and really makes you stop and think about how they perceive you and life in general. Such a heart-warming story about man and his best friend. ♥
The story is in the form of a letter from the aging Reverend John Ames to his son.He was old when he met and married the mother of his son. He is now 76 and suffering a heart complaint. His son is six. Death is at the door and he knows that he won't see his son grow up. A classic.
