Homemade lava lamps. Vegitable oil, a about 3/4th of the water bottle, then water. 10 drops of food coloring. Then take a alkaseltzer tab and break it into 4 pieces. Drop one in at a time and wait for each to dissove! So cool! I cant wait to try it!

Weather: Fill the cup with water. Put shaving cream on top for a cloud. Explain that when clouds get really heavy with water, it rains! Then put blue food coloring on top of the cloud, and watch it rain.

Cool the kids off with a homemade sprinkler. Take a 2 liter soda bottle, poke holes in it. Attach to a garden hose via a male to male adapter that cost less than $5 at Lowes. Toss over a tree branch and let hang. You can adjust how the water sprinkles by adjusting the water flow.
