Put two caps full of vanilla extract in a coffee cup, then place it in the oven at 300 degrees for one hour. Within twenty minutes the whole house smells like Heaven. It's actually a common realtor trick. << Good to know :-)

Shannon Morris My husband collects these for camping and all he does is put some lard or olive oil all over the pan then he puts them in the oven for about an hour or so upside down and when he takes them out he cleans them up and they look band new. one particular one i remember is a dutch over he got out of someones yard that was being used to hold a dead plant it. It was AWEFUL!! Came out beautiful!! WE cook in it all the time!
