You need to understand that not every human being has ulterior motives for helping others; some people genuinely care. I'll be sure to write your name on one of the bricks I place on the orphanage I help build in Haiti this summer and ask the children there to pray for the sad lady without compassion. Maybe their prayers along with mine will open your eyes to what really matters in life.

Ashley Ridgway I'm not a "leftist", I'm a human being with feelings, just like you. I don't know why you chose to be so negative about this subject, but I feel you have hurts that go beyond this pin. And don't worry, I wasn't planning on following you. I just wanted to make my point of view heard as well. Never once did I say you weren't allowed to say what you wanted. A lot of good men and women died for this country's freedom (including members of my family) so that you could say whatever you wanted. If you have any charities near and dear to your heart that help people in America, I would be happy to donate to those as well. Currently my church is responsible for filling our city's food bank, helping prisoners in our state rehabilitate themselves and find jobs, helping orphans find families, etc., but we can always do more! There are so many needs in this world that it's essential we as God's children work together to meet them!
Ashley Ridgway Having compassion for others will set you free from the bondage of anger that's holding you prisoner. The Bible tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves; I'm trying to do that. Again, best of luck to you and smile!! Life is worth being joyful!!

Ashley Tahg I honestly get a REALLY good laugh at these sort of things. My dad is a firefighter, and about half his friends are as well. Most F.fighters are in their 30s, and are either tall and thin, or slightly over weight. Never have a seen a hunk fire fighter. Lol.
