These "Lunch Lady Sloppy Joes" are great! We liked them so much, they're going to become a "regular" menu item. And they're quick and easy to make! :o)

I renamed this: Southwestern Chicken & Rice. Really good, but needs some spice. I'm going to play around with it next time.

I just took about 15 minutes (or less) to make one of these for myself - and it cost less than 5 dollars! After I see how it looks, I might decide to splurge on another one or two. BTW, the instructions on this original pinning aren't exactly right for everyone. You'll need to measure from armpit across your back to armpit to get the correct size, then divide in half. Not everyone is 12 inches across their back!

These Natchitoches Meat Pies are great! I'll definitely make them again, but next time I'll cut the pie crusts into thirds instead of half. They were too big.

These are excellent! I will definitely add this to my list of favorite recipes! I'll add a few extra things to the filling next time, but the basic recipe is delicious and easy.

This Hot Corn Dip is excellent! I will definitely be making this again! (Unfortunately the boys didn't like it, so whenever I make it in the future, it'll have to be for a large group. Billy and I don't need to eat all that by ourselves...)

I was not impressed with these Skinny Baked Mozzarella Sticks. I had high hopes, but they were dashed - and I won't be making these again.

I made one of these, but mine's not nearly as cute. Still, it's just for me so it doesn't really matter, right? I used a large file card box with the plastic monthly dividers, and I wrote the dates on my cards (January through April, then I ran out...) in a decorative script. My biggest problem is remembering to update them daily - or weekly, even.

This was fun, but I was the only one who did it. The boys tried, but they got bored with it pretty quickly. I hung it on the fridge for a while, then threw it away because I didn't really know what else to do with it. Still, it's a cool illusion.

This mushroom soup was good, but there was a little something missing... Butter, maybe (instead of the olive oil)? It lacked a richness. Still, we all liked it and decided it's a keeper. It didn't make a lot, and even with the rice in the soup, everyone was still hungry afterward. This would be good to serve with a meal or with plenty of bread and salad, but not as a meal by itself.

These mini frittatas were a big hit, especially with the boys. I adjusted the recipe to make a dozen for supper, and there was only one left - which Caleb saved for breakfast the next morning. He said they were good left over, too.

Here's MY DIY wipe-off calendar! I can't wait to hang it on my wall!

I followed these instructions (mostly... I forgot to read how to cut bangs... Oops!) and gave the boys some pretty decent haircuts. (Seriously, the bangs aren't horrible, but they aren't as great as the rest of the cut.) I'll definitely do it again!

I made this slouchy beanie (and a matching scarf) for my sister for Christmas in an oatmeal color with brown and black flecks

I used the Cheesy Spinach Artichoke Dip linked in the article to spread on a loaf of French bread for a Christmas party. It was delicious - and GONE in no time!

I made this Marbled Pumpkin Cheesecake to take to a Christmas party. It was delicious! Definitely a keeper!

I love the fun look of boot bracelets! I'm planning to make several pairs for myself!

Sparkly DIY ornament made from satin-covered balls, sequins, seed beads, and straight pins. I have several different designs on my tree.

I followed the basic instructions for these, but I made a few changes so they'd fit my feet better. The main change was crocheting more across the top of the slipper so there would be more to cover the top of my foot. That helps the slipper stay on better. I also came up a little higher on the sides and back. I need to write my pattern down and publish it on my blog...

I made a black/silver bracelet like the smaller one according to the instructions in the linked tutorial. The basic technique is great, but I don't like working with the waxed linen. At all. I'm going to remake mine using 1mm leather lace and silk thread (like I use for stringing/knotting pearls). Still, it's a great project!

Ashley Todd This also makes a gorgeous boot bracelet! They'd be great for just one; a matching pair would be a lot costlier and more time-consuming.
