I've been crocheting since I was about 6 years old, and I learned how to knit at 41. They both have their pros and cons... These are things I want to make one day. (And there are a few other projects here that require a different kind of needle...)
Crochet basket method. Used to make baskets, rugs, trivets, etc.

Goodness knows, we have enough holey jeans! This would be a great way to use the parts I cut off when I "make" the boys' summer shorts.

A few of these crocheted baskets would be a perfect way to use up my scrap yarn! Linked to pattern.

Another pattern to work on! Baby bunting sets seem to be replacing the traditional baby afghans. They're cuter, but the afghans last longer if you make them large enough. Still... cuteness!

This is adorable! I bet I can come up with a pattern for this...
I want this! It's the perfect length to go with my jeggings...

Here's another version of that Ravelry ruana pattern by Cheryl Oberle.
I found the pattern for this ruana in a library book - "Folk Shawls" by Cheryl Oberle. Hopefully I'll get it next week so I can get started!
I made this slouchy beanie (and a matching scarf) for my sister for Christmas in an oatmeal color with brown and black flecks

This crocheted scarf is really cute - and I love the big button. I'm sure I can find a pattern for this...

I definitely want to try this Magic Loop technique! Working with double-pointed needles is confusing.

Very nice! I wonder how rounded corners on the bottom would look...

These are really cute, but I want something a little less complicated - something I could make about 20 pairs of for the Cubbies. For Christmas. Which I would need to give to them in about 4 weeks...

Ashley Todd @Lindsay Leporati, I just need to know what color. And don't wait too long to let me know. :o)
Lindsay Leporati I'm leaning towards ... grey ... or kind of a cream-ish color?!
Ashley Todd I think a cream-colored one would look great on you! Gray is okay, but sort of drab...
I found a pair of slippers I had crocheted several years ago. I started wearing them again and wondered why I had even put them away; they're soooo comfortable! I want to make another pair, but I can't find the instructions anywhere. I tried some similar to these, but they didn't have a good fit. I made some modifications so they come up higher across the top of my foot, and they fit much better! I'll write my pattern down, post it on my blog, and add a few pictures - eventually...
