laundry room with access to master bedroom closet...genius! Wow, I need this for my husband who is allergic to all hampers. He breaks out in a rash if he gets close to one. The only explanation I can think of that all his dirty clothes always end up on the bathroom floor. Always!

Huh - who knew? Gotta try this. Perfectly shredded chicken in seconds.... throw cooked chicken (still warm/hot) in Kitchen Aid with the paddle attachment. Turn to speed 4-6 and in 20 seconds you'll have perfect, restaurant style shredded chicken.

BRILLIANT!! This is called the ransom rubbage box. If you leave your belongings out after one warning, mom takes it and puts it inside this box and you can't get it back until you draw a job from the envelope and do it!

Quick Tip: Never peel an egg again! Cut directly through it- @Kelli McPhail for when you make deviled eggs. Click the link and watch the other easy method. I am off to boil some eggs so I can try it

Autum Hall creative little daisy OK, so I tried both methods. Didn't have great luck with cutting if you want to preserve the shape of the egg. Fine if you are making egg salad, but not for deviled eggs. The other method worked better.
Sarah Johner too lazy to click, what was the other method?
Ali Hudson Really? Blow them clean out? I HAVE to try this.
make a list of the top 30 or so recipes you use most often; create a spreadsheet with the recipes along the side and the ingredients along the top; plan a week ahead for the recipes you want to make; circle ingredients on the spreadsheet, and you've got your shopping planned

Mind Jar. It is really easy to make. The goal is that when they are feeling out of control, they shake the jar, then sit and watch the glitter settle in the water. When the glitter settles, we finish our meditation. This one is a really great technique to use in lieu of timeout.

Homemade Dishwasher Detergent 1 Cup of Borax 1 Cup Baking Soda (I used Washing Soda) 1/2 Cup Kosher Salt 1/2 Cup Citric Acid (You can purchase "Fresh Fruit" in the canning isle. It is a produce protector or you can puchase 15 packets of lemon Kool-aid, the unsweetened kind, and that works as well.) Mix all ingredients in a container and voila! dshwasher detergent! Use 1 Tbsp per load PLUS add some vinegar to the rinse aid portion of your dishwasher (this keeps the plastic from getting a cloudy look) and wash away!

Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry, stretching out softener use and lessening waste.
