Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I have loved it and use it on my appliances as well. Got this from Melissa at granvillehouse.blogspot. She is amazing!

The "miracle" of baking soda and peroxide. Put 1/4 cup of baking soda in a bowl.....add enough peroxide to make a paste. Rub on with fingers or sponge. Cleans EVERYTHING! Stove, oven, pans, stainless steel applicances, even the white handles of the refrig door.
I've had one for two years and nothing works as well. Mine was made from 2 cups of DAWN and 1 cup of rubbing alcohol. I used the good ziplock bags- one inside on another with one zipper side down inside the other with the zip on top. Loosely wrap in a thin dishtowel or into a old pillow case. Mine started leaking after about a year so I just poured it into new bags. It freezes nearly solid but becomes maleable quickly. Don't use on bare skin without a cover- they are really, really cold.
So smart! Do you know how many of those hangers I've pitched? And then paid money to buy chip clips?!
Pour your leftover wine into ice cube trays and freeze it. Next time you have a recipe that calls for wine just grab a few cubes and start cooking.

Ever wonder if your child has already been given her medicine?? In this case, it was twice/day for 10 days. Just an idea - use a sharpie & mark it right on the bottle! :) Great idea for both kids and adults!
