Jenn Schiffer YEAH I DO.

Kristin Wald is a bossy know-it-all, mainly due to being the eldest of three sisters all her life and a teacher for more than a decade. Her children and husband allow her to believe she is the boss of them. Kristin is discovering the ins-and-outs of the Montclair area while still adjusting to being in a car far too often. She blogs for herself, and she writes for Barista Kids.

Kristen Kemp Founding Editor Kristen Kemp created this parenting site in August 2008 because she was new to town, and she was so not in the know. She longed for a resource to find out about preschools, pools and other parents. She wanted a website that could be the city-minded suburban family's one-stop shop for all kid- and parent-related news. She's a longtime freelance writer for Glamour, Cosmo, Self, Seventeen, CafeMom.com and many others. She's the author of seven teen novels for Scholastic, and she is currently writing a book called Redemption for Random House (March 2011). She and her husband are raising twin girls and a little boy in Montclair.

Georgette Gilmore Editor-in-Chief Georgette fell in love with Montclair while majoring in art at Montclair State University. She's been here nine years, and she knows exactly when to register for summer camp. She started as an ad salesperson for Barista Kids and worked her way up to Events Editor. In less than a year, she became co-owner of the site along with Kristen and took over as the Barista Kid boss and tour de force. She is currently a teacher at Park Street Academy--and the mother of two precocious girls. (mailto:georgette@...)
