Good to remember: Lemon, rosemary and vanilla home deodorizer - let simmer all day, adding water when needed. Williams Sonoma store smell!

Who knew?? Use baking soda and vinegar to fix funky towels. Over time, and with many washes, your bath towels will build up detergent and fabric softener residue, leaving them both unable to absorb as much water and smelling kinda funky when they do. Rather than give Target another lump sum, run them through the wash once with hot water and a cup of vinegar, then again with hot water and a half-cup of baking soda, as wikiHow suggests. That strips the residue from them, leaves them smelling fairly fresh again, and makes your post-shower experience a dryer one,

JUST purchased this for my hallway. I'm in love.

Take a spray bottle, fill it about 1/8th full with rubbing alcohol, add a drop of Dawn dishwashing soap, a few drops of scented oil (optional, but makes it smell so good), fill the rest of the way with water, shake together, and you're good to go! It makes your granite (or any countertop) shine and feel so smooth at a fraction of the price~I have loved it and use it on my appliances as well.

Another pinner said: "btw...my sister and i made this, figured it was worth a try...& by FAR the best laundry detergent EVER! only need a tablespoon per load (we just use the oxy scoop) and it smells so good! Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase another laundry detergent brand. This has inspired me to make more homemade cleaning products :) very exciting!" Laundry soap recipe - $20 for 9+ months' worth of soap. Gotta try this!

I'm missing a window in my bedroom, so this might be perfect!

Use curtains to frame the bed. Excellent idea!

ornament storage - glue cups to the cardboard cut to fit the box. // pure GENIUS!

If I ever need a headboard - 2 doors from Home Depot, painted and topped with crown molding.

Got to try this! Martha Stewart's Tub Scrub--works better than any other cleaning product to get off hard water and soap residue

A laundry room next to the master bedroom. The hamper goes into the master closet, and folds out into the laudry room. Brilliant!

Take your favorite liquid fabric softener and soak an old hand towel or flour cloth completely with it. Wring it out and let it dry completely, then throw it in with your next load. This mega-fabric softener sheet should be good for at least 40 loads of laundry, stretching out softener use and lessening waste.

what a great idea!
