Brigid Barjaktarevic "Graceling" is a really good book. Really good. I'm reading Westfeld's "Leviathan" series right now (on the third book) and it's fantastic, as was his "Uglies" series. I think you'd like Laini Taylor's "Lips Touch 3 Times" (3 short stories about girls' first kisses) and "Daughter Of Smoke And Bone" (first book in a... three part?... series).
