Put two TBS of vanilla extract in an oven-safe cup/bowl, then place it in the oven at 300 degrees for one hour. Within twenty minutes the whole house smells like Heaven. It's actually a common realtor trick.

I am in heaven - I saw it on somebody else's pinterest, but can't remember who - i did the white vinegar and dawn dish soap to clean the shower tonight. AMAZING!!!!!!! I did one cup each. Put it in a squirt bottle, shook it up - sprayed it on and let it sit for about an hour - came back and with a soft sponge, it wiped right off!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Sweet Magnolias Farm ...So True. I like lists ...mark it off as its done, gives such a feeling of accomplishment.
Place a layer of wax paper on top of upper kitchen cabinets where dust and grease particles gather. Every few months, switch out the paper for a fresh sheet. Includes other wax paper uses.

Vanina Mendes ...brilliant idea ;)
Jeanne @ Inside NanaBread's Head Blog My favorite is 1/4 cup Mr Clean, 1/4 cup ammonia (I buy lemon scent for both) and 1 cup water. Mix all in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Use only on hard stones, not pearls or opals or other soft or porous stones. Let soak for 30 mins; scrub with soft toothbrush; rinse with water. Works really well.
Vanina Mendes Thank you so much Jeanne ;) ;) ;) Kiss

Good to know...Ball up Newspaper and stuff into refrigerator when it SMELLS BAD. Change out papers every 2 hours until smell is gone! (A plumber recommended this to us when we returned from vacation to find a basket of rotted spinach!!! IT WORKS and worked after 3 changes - we had already tried everything else!)...wonder if it would work in a microwave where someone burnt the popcorn?

De-tarnish ALL your silver ALL at once... line your sink with aluminum foil, add 1/2 c table salt, 1/2 c. baking soda, fill with hot water, then dump in all your silver! Let sit for about 30 min. The tarnish all transfers to the foil
