Missy Shay What does it mean to fussy cut? I hear the term often.
Lori Holt It means to cut a piece of fabric one at a time so that a cute design on the fabric (for example the scissors or the little girl in a scarf in the above picture) will end up in the center of the hexie or any other shape you may be working with. It takes extra time and planning than just rotary cutting through several layers of fabric at once....so it's fussy work...which is where the term "fussy cut" means. I hope this helps!
Missy Shay OK, thanks!
