Need to remember this ... so many clothes I thought were ruined... Chalk will remove grease stains from clothes. Simply rub the stain with chalk, then toss in the wash as normal.

Spring Clean Your Mattress: Pour 1 cup of baking soda into a mason jar and drop in 4 drops of lavender essential oil. Put on the lid and shake up the jar. Using a kitchen strainer sprinkle the baking soda mixture all over the mattress and let it sit. I leave it for an hour or more, usually the time it takes for me to finish washing all the bedding. Then thoroughly vacuum the mattress. Bye, bye dust mites and other nasty things

If you want your house to smell heavenly, boil some orange peels with a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon on Medium heat. My favorite smell in the entire universe, of all time.

Should try this. Interesting.- Glass cutting with only yarn and fingernail polish remover- Here is what you do: -wrap the cotton yarn around your bottle 5-6 times, tie and cut ends. -slide yarn off of the bottle -dip in nail polish remover -slide the wet yarn back onto the bottle---NOTE---the bottle will be cut at whatever angle you have the yarn at, so if you are interested in doing a sideways cut just adjust your yarn -light on fire ****please please be careful**** -only the wet yarn will be lit on fire and the flame is very well controlled -rotate bottle in circles as the yarn is on fire for about 20 seconds so that all parts of the bottle warm evenly -submerge in cold water and watch the bottle parts separate -use sand paper to smooth rough edges

Polly-fleece team up with rice to keep your hands toasty. Just pop these little cuties in the microwave for 30 seconds and then slip them into coat pockets to keep hands warm for up to an hour. WHAT A FABULOUS IDEA!

Freezer Fail Detector: Here's a simple one: what happens if your power goes out while you're on vacation? Well your food will thaw, then go bad, then refreeze, and you'll be none the wiser when you go to eat it. The freezer fail detector is just a jar filled half-way with water then frozen on its side. Put the jar upright and glance at it whenever you open your freezer. No more salmonella!
