Japanese marinated soft-boiled egg for ramen. I think a few years ago, this would have sounded disgusting to me, but now I'm all, "Oooooh, I need to get some mirin!"

Soft-boiled eggs with buttery herb-gruyere toasts. (Basically, think of the most intensely-flavored crouton ever.)

Cheryl Larkin I make these all the time for parties! People love them!
Tamara Lang My family loves lasagna rolls, I think they might be nate's favorite!
Aha, this is what I've been looking for: precise directions for how to brew one cup of coffee with the pour-over method. My geeky little precision-loving heart was warmed by the amount of coffee beans and water needed being described in weights.

Jennifer Howard I want that contraption.
We just made a batch of these PB&J Valentine cookies, and they're delicious. Note that you really do need to make the heart-shaped well nice and deep, or the jam will spread out over the surface of the cookie as it puffs up and lose its heart shape.

Alexandra White We tried them also and while they were delicious, I didn't get them deep enough so I had the problem you mention!.
Compost Cookies from Momofuku Milk Bar. I've never even heard of these, but it's basically a chocolate chip cookie with pretzels, potato chips, and Rice Krispies in it. How could it go wrong!?

Jennifer Howard I saw a similar cookie on a cookie show recently. They also added ground espresso beans. I agree, it couldn't possibly go wrong.

A Cup of Coffee Cake (in Under Five Minutes) -- I made this last night and it's not only the best microwaved cake I've ever had, it was just good coffee cake, period. I will definitely be making this again some late-night when I am craving cake.

I am pinning this recipe for homemade Milanos twice: once in Food, and once in Geektastic, because Stella (of BraveTart) awesomely referenced Firefly in the first photo.

Bethany Actually @Yara Aguilar, have you never seen Firefly!?
Yara Aguilar Auto-correct...I typed re-watch. I've seen it once, but want to watch it again.

greencardgirly In German, the word for colorful is bunt. So to me, this is a bunt bundt. :)
greencardgirly I could swear I left a comment here earlier, but now I don't see it so I feel compelled to repeat myself: The German word for colorful is bunt, so to me, this is a bunt bundt. :)
Peanut butter pots de crème with red-wine suicide reduction for the "jelly"? Yes please! (And I don't even like PB&J-type desserts.)

Bonnie Ratliff Crowder My stepmom used to do this for us with plain toast. She called it "Eggs and Soldiers". But then she decided eggs were bad for you. It was sad.
