The Roselily Collection Looking for a new blossom for your Easter vases? How about a lily with three times as many petals as traditional Liliums? Designed primarily for the cut flower market, Roselilies have some very unique attributes: an absence of pollen, a lighter fragrance, and a very long vase life. Check your local florist for two varieties ('Belonica' and 'Fabiola'); the others will be available later in 2012 and 2013.

Gardening Tip - Put Epsom salts and sugar into each hole with your plant; It makes them grow larger, leafier and greener.

Jimena Lemus-Campos wow, thanks for the tip!
Brandy McCaleb 4. Dee says: February 21, 2012 at 5:45 am I was a little skeptical of the epsom salt tip because I remember learning in history class how conquering armies would salt the soil of their enemies in order to ensure that nothing grew. But, a quick google search shows that your mom is onto something. The Epsom Salt Council says that the magnesium and sulfer in epsom salts make plants germinate faster and grow thicker and leafier. Thank you (and your mom) for the great tip! Here’s the URL for the epsom salt council: http://www.epsomsaltcouncil... What is the risk to try it? I need all the help I can get!

Ally Cang Sweet potato vine also comes in a burgundy color as well...I love this plant...
A Passionate Pursuit Mary Reid wove burgundy plants, including Eucomis comosa 'Sparkling Burgundy,' Weigela florida 'Wine and Roses,' Leucadendron salignum 'Summer Red,' Echinacea purpurea 'Bravado,' and Penstemon 'Hidcote Pink,' through a cluster of yellow-green euphorbia, santolina, and silver grasses.
