Pamela Lupis I sold 2 homes in NY both with painted cabinets..the first with cutom butter yellow and the next with a Plain and Fancy product in cream.We designed both kitchens and each home sold at a high value. I think you can use color and get a great resale. I think it also has alot to do with what is going on around it! I have since relocated to Florida and and found a lovely home but I miss my painted cabinets but I am certain we will tweek this home too!I.

Wendy Valenzuela This is my kitchen cabinet and wall color. I lightly sanded the cabinets to make the distressed appearance and set apart from the wall color. I then used 3' up the walls, B Board wall paper in a yellow/olive color....It is beautiful and I am happy with the color creating a truly country kitchen.

Barbara Harris Elizabeth, I do like my kitchen right now. We have ivory cabinets , some with glass, in the galley end. The other area has the table & chairs, with white beadboard wainscotting. Our house is very old, so an island would never fit. But it is cozy. Just a little more to do to get it finished.
