cut and glue together various sized pvc pipe pieces to make a custom frame ( it's nice because you could literally then paint it ANY color)
Love this...Inspired by Pinterest - I had a shoe box full of photos, and wanted to do something more creative than a memory book or frames....Took some time, but I cut petals from the pictures and what was left of each, I made smaller "filler" petals. I painted a 24x36 canvas in flat black acrylic and while it was drying, did a "rough draft" on some photo-copy paper taped together in the same size as the canvas. Will be the main piece above my sofa...Think I will offset this with some self-adhesive wall lettering. Maybe the Live, Laugh, Love? not sure yet. Its still coming together... :)
Stunning before and afters on this website. Makes me realize how craigslist crap can turn into treasure with some TLC.
