Danika Mininger For the dough, we mix flour with water in our bread machine on the dough cycle. Chill that while you make the filling. We use ground pork, one egg white, minced garlic and ginger, one grated carrot and sliced green onions. I cook the filling before stuffing the dumplings. I like to pan fry on one side, flip, then steam with chicken broth.
Danika Mininger Also, I just oil the counter before rolling the dough since flour could make it tough. I use a little cornstarch if I need something. I found that a mason jar is just the right size to cut them, but each dumpling press could be different. I actually use this most often with biscuit dough to make little pasties.
