Organize and share things you love.
Julia's Child by Sarah Pinneo - story of a mom who tries to juggle family life with her business creating organic foods for toddlers. Mostly enjoyed by hate how the author barely changes some real life things (i.e., tv show "The Scene" is obviously "The View," etc.) That just feels lazy to me.
When We Were Romans by Matthew Kneale - 9-year-old Lawrence narrates the adventure that arises when his mother becomes convinced her estranged husband is stalking her and makes the family flee the country
Room by Emma Donoghue - shocking and heartbreaking and inspiring; a testament to a mother's love and the resiliency of the human spirit

Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult - not quite as compelling as her previous works (to me, anyway) but still well worth the read

Heartbreaking and hopeful story of a girl broken by Katrina and spiraling into an abyss on the wings of meth addicition. Jacqueline Woodson writes another book that will stay with me a long time.

Laura Fowler and how was it?
Katharine Herrman I really liked it. Interesting to see how easily futures could be changed, but not neccessarily the way those attempting change might have hoped.
Leverage by Joshua C. Cohen - Terrifying and mesmerizing (01.03.2012)
Everything On It by Shel Silverstein - just as good as his previous works; makes me miss him so much, but glad I can share this with Max! (01.08.12)
