I just started this novel, and it is truly exceptional. The writing is lyrical, precise and evocative. (Nice cover as well.)
Ms MacKinnon's book is a warning about the threat of conscious and/or inadvertent degradation of Internet freedom.
Not an especially appealing cover (too hard-edged tech), but I am reading it because it is by the inimitable Howard Rheingold (who I met at SXSWi 2012).

Just bought this . . . although the typeface of the title is florid and pretentious
