Tiffany Norton I think you could paint the back of the paper with wheat paste, let it dry, and then use it as a water-activated tape. It would save the expense and un-eco aspect of the 3M plastic adhesive. Very pretty idea though!

I haven't tried to make this kind of tape, but I would think that you could paint the underside of the paper, let it dry, and then use a spray bottle to moisten it before applying. That's how I use my water activated tape - I think it would be the same? I am excited to try it!
