After our first dance my groom surprised me with a serenade. He got two of his friends to sing with him, it was WONDERFUL!
The music theme was woven throughout the entire day - including a trumpet fanfare before we were announced into the reception!

Instead of a unity candle or other tradition, we had a ring blessing. The wedding rings were placed on a ribbon and passed to parents and grandparents for a prayer and a blessing before we exchanged them.
A wedding day first look (before the ceremony) means that you get time together that you wouldn't normally have. You can laugh and love on each other and get rid of some nerves. Plus, then you get to enjoy your own party with the people you love!

Our formal exit was with glow sticks - we almost nixed it but I'm so glad that we had it! Make sure your wedding photographer can get great photos of this... if they don't know what they're doing you won't see the glow sticks!

Our escort cards for the reception were tickets, and each person's name was on a card (or couples) with the performer/band they were sitting with, based on the table names. More red and aqua and music themed wedding.

Our table names for the reception were based on bands or artists we love, with spray painted glitter records and photos with titles. Music theme wedding and reception.
Pedicabs because our wedding ceremony was a little bit of a walk to the reception site, and we served two signature cocktails - one red, one aqua, to match our colors!
