Mom and Me journal. Write letters back and forth with your kids. Ask a question, answer a question. Leave under their pillows...I love this idea.

Rewarding kids with things they get to do instead of things they get to have. When they do something good, they pick from the jar and get things like to stay up a little later or play outside a little longer etc. Cute idea!

Chore and Homework chart! Easy to make with felt and sticky felt letters from the dollar store. Write chore and dollar amount on the clothespin and put in the "to do" then the kids can move them over to the "done" side upon completion. Homework doesn't get a dollar amount! Maybe a reward at the end of the week for doug all homework (ice cream, etc). Colorful, simple and useful!!!

Love this for the summer: Mom puts together lists under five different categories - Oh the Food we will Eat, Oh the Service that can be Done, Oh the Places we will Go, Oh the Crafts we will Make, and Oh the Activities we will Do; every Sunday, as a family, they plan out the week w/activities from the lists.
