How to store fresh asparagus

Jen Beckman After searching for just the right shape for storing asparagus upright, I have learned that a mega-super-ultra Slurpee cup for 7-11 is just right for a pound-ish size bunch. Ball jars don't hold enough, even if they are more rustically appealing. At my 7-11, they don't make me buy a Slurpee to get the cup ; )
Lori Fredrich @Jen Beckman - The large widemouth canning jars work well for around a pound -- but we almost always buy larger batches, so we've been using our Fridgesmart Tupperware for this purpose. Added bonus: the textured bottom ensures that the stems can absorb more water. (http://www.amazon.com/Tuppe...)

Carolyn Townsend WOW is all I can say
Great tip! Buy drywall mud knife for the kitchen. Use it to neatly cut bars & cakes. Apparently can even wash it in the dishwasher!

Carrie Grulke @Lori Fredrich -have you had the margarita ones yet? I didn't think anything could top the sangria caramels until I had the margarita! So happy for Becky and Co. The Williams Sonama flavor is going to be gingerbread, can't wait!
Lori Fredrich Yes! So delicious. And the salted gingerbread caramels she's making for WS are absolutely unbelievable. Can't wait.
