LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea!!! It's a daily calendar that can be reused each year and gets better the longer you use it. Each day you write the year and something that happened that day like, "(Child's name) took her first steps." Imagine how neat it would be in 10 years.

Indoor Tulips . . . Step 1 - Fill a glass container about 1/3 of the way with glass marbles or decorative rocks. Clear glass will enable you to watch the roots develop . . . Step 2 - Set the tulip bulb on top of the marbles or stones; pointed end UP. Add a few more marbles or rocks so that the tulip bulb is surrounded but not covered (think support). . .Step 3 - Pour fresh water into the container. The water shouldn't touch the bulb, but it should be very close, so that the roots will grow in.

Anniversary idea -- buy a balloon for each year you have been married, tie to the string a story/memory that is special to you that the two of you shared together
Our 'love map'. Where we met (Venezuela), where we married (Tasmania) and where we live (Northgate, QLD Australia). Black Ikea Frame $24. Maps from Google - free. Printed words using 'American Typewriter' font. Saw a similar project done online and had to try my own. If you met, married and live in the same City or State- try using an old street map for a more unique look.

Great idea for Thanksgiving table. Wine glasses & mini pumpkins..
Take wedding invitation, cut into strips and place in a glass ball. Give to newlywed couple for their first Christmas. Would work for baby showers and other things too... such a beautiful idea~
Dip baby's foot in glue and then glitter the ornament. {would also work with hands for older kids}

Mini Lyrics Scrap Book. My favorite kind to make! Regular brown lunch sacks as the pages make it super cheap to make. Lyrics and pictures to one of our favorite songs! I just print the pictures off my computer and already have all the scrapbook paper and supplies, so making this cost roughly around one dollar!
