I love this idea from Erin Cobb on the Creative Mama. She put her photos and stories from her 365 project in a photo book at the end of each year (and had one copy made for each kid). She even has templates that I could download.

It's a long exposure shot with sparklers :) All they had to do was stand there very still and someone else ran around them with a sparkler. it's like a fairy tale! OBSESSED!
