Pinterest is an online pinboard.
Organize and share things you love.
Every week I will personally select a DESIGN.... maybe not the way I would do it....but never the less WELL DONE ~ as I progress with this idea I will open this board up to other contributors to pin the DESIGN of the week. Add the date in the same format as first pin after the words DESIGN of the week. Give credit to the designer. No selling or shameless self-promotion, please.

2.05.2012 ~ This design by Susan Ferrier of McAlpine Booth Ferrier Interiors is so inspiring. I love the use of this very neutral color palette within this very contemporary design. A great example of a modern design scheme with great attention to detail. The window frames, the ceiling, and especially the use of these huge fabric panels which help create a sense of comfort in this otherwise overwhelming space.

DESIGN of the week 01.30.2012. Wonderful warm and inviting Great Room/Library combo! I love the space utilization and rich tones that draw me and make me want to curl up with a book. The design evokes coziness even with a 2 story ceiling. Who wouldn't want to spend time here? Photo courtesy of Southern Accents.

CASUDI This looks like it is lived in, not just a fabulous design for a photo shoot.
Judy Moore What a wonderful space.
The inspiring interior design captures a multitude of styles, all designed to offer a seamless collection of textures, colors, shapes and materials. Wood, concrete, glass, metal, exposed brick – all these materials found their place in the apartment’s interior design and surprising lines and details were shaped with their help. - Check out all the pictures; so many great ideas.

CASUDI This is a brilliant design as it breaks (sort of) one of the main rules I have, not more than one (max two) patterns in any design. This has seven different patterns but they are in the same blues and are related….. so it really works and works very well. This is a fab room and I wish I had designed this :-) An excellent choice for DESIGN of the week.
glmorrisstudio exquisite color. wow.
Rug Design of the week -> Ottoman Style. I like that this one is borderless, which gives it a more open feeling. And of course the colors are wonderfully bright and cheery. Look for an album of Ottoman rugs shortly. 5'10"x8'10" 100% wool, hand knotted. Other sizes available. Also comes in a cream color field.
