Love this! Buy plates from Dollar Store, write things like, Night Before Christmas, wedding vows for a gift, happy birthday song, the possibilities are endless :) Please note, they used a Porcelain 150 Pen which is permanent and safe once baked for 30 mins in a conventional oven.

Since I was low on cash this Christmas, I decided to make my two sisters Julia and Emily gifts instead of buying them. I found these wood letters at Michaels for 5.99 a piece and used 40% off coupons to reduce the price to about 3.50 a piece! I then got a yard of ribbon each for about 60 cents and acrylic paint for 1.49 a tube. All I did was use a stencil and trace a cute design on them then paint over it! I got help from my Dad and used the staple gun to connect the ribbon to the back of each letter. Now they can hang them in their rooms as decoration! They loved it. Total Cost was about 5.60 a piece!

Just a candlestick {these are from Ross, 3 for $10} Spray prime, spray painted them any color. The jars were old Fry’s salsa jars soaked in bleach solution and labels peeled off. The lids were spray painted to match the candlesticks then glued onto the candlesticks with gorilla glue.

Buy a rough surfaced tile from Lowe's (less than a dollar) and mod podge pretty scrapbook paper on it. Then mod podge picture over that. Let dry and wrap with a pretty bow. Easy and cheap! You can also include a small stand to set the tile on.

coasters made from terracotta pot bases... Smart. Better than tiles, the water can't drip off the edge this way. Genius.
