Laura Witherington III I couldn't get it to work. Could you?
Deb It worked for me! It doesn't work 100% but I was able to find an original source that way. Great tip!
Rennae Griffin Great!
Connie - Diamond Fibers Yarn You can also use a browser plugin called Tin Eye, you just right click and it does a search. Again, not 100% effective but better than someone's randomly attributed tumblr.
A.D. Blackadar Yep it worked for me too...
removing wax from old candle jars (the freezer trick)
70 likes 3 comments 443 repins
Kim {It's My Life} Great idea! Another idea that I use sometimes is to put a little water in the jar. The candle doesn't stick to the bottom of the jar as it melts down. If the candle isn't completely burned down I pour the water out until the next use so it doesn't get stagnant.
Kim {It's My Life} Obviously the water trick is only for candles that aren't already poured into the jar.( like Yankee etc.) This would be for votives or candles that you place inside a hurricane etc.
Erin Kim- that works if you pour boiling water from the kettle into the candle jar/votive holder. Let the water cool and pluck the wax pieces out. I will try this freezer trick next and see if I fair better with it!

Stacy Risenmay How funny! I do this. I almost blogged about it too but then didn't. Works best if you spray Pam on the rings :)
Julie Blanchard You're right, Pam works great. I may try to see if the Pam version with flour works even better.
Use tape to measure distance between the two holes, then put the tape on the wall. Smart and simple!

Roshni C Roshni Do The one thing that I did not know is that the guest waits for the host to start eating...I always thought it should be the other way around. As a host, I would want to make sure that the guests have all they need before starting to eat!
Lori Dyer I'm not sure but I think it's a way to prove to your guests that you haven't poisoned the food.
Laura Z LOL Lori!! = )

milk carton watering can
104 likes 3 comments 809 repins
Domanique Alicia In our garden, we cut off the top bit of the milk jugs (just above the handle), and poke four pencil-sized holes in the bottom. We then burry one next to each new bush (usually peonies). When we water, we not only spray the tops of the peonies, but we fill up the milk jugs with water. That way the roots are directly watered and the plant gets water before the sun burns it all off the top layer of soil.
Centsational Girl so smart Domanique!

if you forget your Michaels coupon - have it scanned from your phone

Hillary Dickman Wow. I clearly live in the dark ages with my pay-as-you-go phone that I never use.
Lori Konecki let me guess how this works..... you get an app on your phone, and the stores can 'scan' the coupon that's showing up on your phone...?
Cheryl Carlson @Lori Konecki Yes, that is how it works. I do it all the time...just have my phone ready and they scan my phone. Since I don't always carry coupons with me, the phone works really well.
Erin Lindt I look up coupons for every store I visit before I check out. Express, Old Navy, Michaels....all they need is the register code.
Hannah Cox Works with Hobby Lobby's 40% coupon as well.
