Lenard Hong i've seen houses use these as actual walls. good thing about that is that air can sneak past the tiny cracks in betwen the rocks. very nice :)
Bobbi Cathcart I had a gaboion wall installed once. They used those nice rounded rocks as shown instead of 'shot' rock. It was expensive and it fell down. Just sayin.

charles elliott first glance the pavers appear to be precast concrete. the foundation is likely compacted crushed gravel (usually 6-8 inches) with a 1" layer of setting sand.
