What You Need Materials 1 cup of vinegar 2 tablespoons of baking soda 1 cup of water (give or take depending on the size of your pan) A burnt stainless steel pan that was left empty and unattended on a heated hot plate. oops!. A scourer, because I can't find any way to avoid it entirely Instructions 1. Fill the bottom of the pan with a layer of water. 2. Add the vinegar. 3. Bring the pan to the boil. It should be looking a bit cleaner already. 4. Remove the pan from the heat an...

Glenda Thomas I have been needing this for awhile! Thanks do much
Kathy Johns I have to say in my 61 years I've burnt a pot or two. For hard core burns get pot/pan frying hot and carefully pour water with a couple drops of detergent and turn off stove to let it soak in good. Sometimes I get my trusty metal spatula and scrape bottom while soaking. On my enamel I clean it up if needed with scouring powder like Comet. That gets the stain out. Yes you run a risk of damaging the pot but face it, the pot is useless if you don't get the pot clean. This is why I stay away from Teflon because I am not the perfect cook and when my pot needs a good cleaning I pull out my steel pad put a little soap or comet on the problem.
Melystelly Oven cleaner ... period. Works like a charm> just make sure to scrub and wash multiple times to remove any traces of the oven cleaner. I also run it through the dishwasher for extra good measure.
Teresa Kopacko Hall Baking Soda and water simmering in burnt pan will work also.

[ edgeplot ] What a sad waste of land and fuel and time sprawl is.
From a 2002 article in the APA Journal: A transect should be viewed as a way of applying a set of core principles of good form to a range of human habitats. Thus the idea that human environments should be walkable, pedestrian oriented, diverse, and promoting of public space is intrinsic to each type of environment along the transect.

Naomi Cline always double check the link before repining. If the link is not right then don't repin! Leave it up to a few bad apples to ruin the bunch!
Ruby Cam Can't you just repin it to the right place and delete to the wrong?
Dorothy Slauson O WoW.....Thank you.
Robert Pigram @Even easier use http://www.tineye.com/ just right click on any image and your there;)
Hannah Thomas Personally, I have found google to be more reliable than tineye.com. Plus, if you use Chrome you can install the Google Image Search extension so that you can right click any image to start the search.

Michelle McCoy I see this all the time. I want to say something but I just can't bring myself to correct those who struggle in the area of grammar.
Suzi Kelley If we could just charge for the blatant over usage of apostrophes...the madness would stop! HA!
Elaine McCallen I repeatedly corrected my daughter's grammar as she grew up; now I hear her do the same thing! Do they not teach grammar in schools anymore?? Also verb tense...I hate to hear someone say "I seen..." instead of "I saw..".
Michelle McCoy Too busy teaching TAKS tests...
