"We bought one 48" long x 1" diameter rod and cut it down to two 24" rods with wood brackets (actually intended for corners). We used the wood brackets because they come off the wall perfectly without affecting the door remaining open. We found the rod and brackets on sale at Lowes for a total of $10; far cheaper than towel rods shown in another pinterest idea. The hooks are two-hook shower curtain hooks (Lowes) for $12. The earring frame I made out of an old frame in which I painted; cut and inserted the metal screen and VOILA!!! Now all of my costume jewelry is right where I can see it to match with my outfits."
