"skinny" texas cheese fries — this looks awesome, but I have a problem with somebody calling this "skinny" with all the heavy ingredients in it. "skinny" maybe, but not healthy.

Leanne Clute You could use low-fat cheddar and turkey bacon and it'd be healthier. i think her point was that it's a healthier option than the double fried restaurant versions.
the @chimes [ life+running ] That's true — to cut more calories. It still doesn't make it healthy when you consider the fake ingredients in low-fat and fake versions of things. Whole foods is what I choose to put in my body. I get her point, just not something that I myself would consider to be healthy ... which is why I put it on the board for the BF — whose main health goal is losing weight. It just irks me when people use "skinny" to describe things. But it's a quick way to know that somebody's made an attempt at making something lighter.
Leanne Clute I agree about the fake ingredients, I prefer whole foods myself. I think she uses "skinny" for all of her recipes. I dont follow WW but it seems like 7 points is a lot. I think I'd rather eat some GF pizza. lol. At least I can guiltlessly load it up with veggies.
the @chimes [ life+running ] Yes! 7 points is a lot, unless you're bigger and trying to quit the super fatty stuff. Then this would be a great choice (to your original point!) I'm always trying to educate people on healthy vs. not, and WW is a conundrum because on one hand, it's super healthy for extremely overweight people to lose weight, but it's not healthy for them to consume fake crap.
