Ros Lymer - This piece is made out of fabric and paper scraps; they have been dyed, printed on, batiked, heat pressed, arranged, embroidered and stitched. The piece is 30x25cm, and is framed in a 50x50cm simple white box frame with glass. The people in it are people that I photographed in the street, walking along, waiting at the station or reading the paper. The colours are muted and neutral with dashes of red stitching, they felt like urban colours to me, suggesting city life. I like the ...
