Maybe a desk like this with more storage is a better idea
We are in dire need of storage in our office area. Adding inexpensive Expedit bookshelves might be the way to go...but we'll need file storage! This is brilliant & economical.

paint upholstery fabric on your chair - Oh my! I think that I might have just found a solution to fix my old couch that is in dire need of being reupholstered (but for 1600 will not be getting done any time soon)
